Recap: Per Se New York

by Brandie

So blessed I was able to experience Per Se in New York City.

This is a 3 star Michelin restaurant.

Which means it has received one of the highest ratings, if not thee highest rating in the restaurant world. It is certainly a resturant you should dine in if you have a chance.

The menu consist of three different options as far as entrees. Two of which are 9 course The Tasting of Vegetables and Chef’s Tasting Menu. 1 of which is 5 courses The Salon Menu

I ordered the Tasting of Vegetables because there were a few things on the Chef Tasting Menu that I didn’t eat but luckily my friend ate everything on that menu and graciously shared most of their meals with me.

We also opted for the wine pairing and I couldn’t tell you every wine I tried but it’s worth it if you really want to enhance your meal. The sommelier is, of course, much more knowledgable in the area than most of us.

Also get the truffle compliment, always.

I found to be pretty fantastic being offered 6 different types of salts.

I swapped out one of the courses for the lamb they offered at the time because I really didn’t want to pass that up. I am so pleased I made this decision because it was my favorite part of the meal.

The desserts came in an array and I couldn’t have been happier. Also in a takeaway we were even given cookies to take home in very cute perse silver tins.

All in all if you are able to visit Perse do it, even if it has to be for a special occasion. Add it to your list.
