Recap: The Setai Miami Hotel

by Brandie

Staying at the Setai in Miami was such a nice experience. Every time you walk up to your hotel you feel like you just made it back home because the door men welcome you back with inviting smiles showing hospitality as they open the door.

Breakfast-

Their breakfast gave me life every morning! Classiest breakfast buffet ever. 😎 Loved the variety. They have a made to order guacamole bar. Love love love avocados. I enjoyed smoked salmon and the best chicken sausage I’ve ever had. I ate way too many pastries for breakfast but tried to balance it out with fruit and oatmeal. Definitely kept me full for hours. I miss it!

Room-

Getting chocolates in our room at check in and during turn down was a plus. I love chocolate! 💁The fire alarm went off when I was blow drying my hair so I called the front desk and engineering came down relatively quickly to turn the annoying but rightfully alarming blinking light off. Very spacious bathrooms I never felt cramped when both of use were in there. Although I could always use more counter space I ended up using both sinks counter. The lighted magnifying mirror was appreciated when doing my makeup since it’s a bit ridiculous to travel with one! A hotel that has it gets a couple extra points in my book.

They are also nice enough to give you complimentary beach flip flops and a beach bag to use during your stay.

Beach/ pool-

They have 3 pools in between the spa and restaurant outside. I only went to the pool on our way back from the beach and it was never crowded. Since it’s 3 of them I can’t imagine that the pools are ever overly crowded which is nice. Approaching the beach you are able to get spf 30 or 50 from the pool attendants on the way to the beach. Also they have infused water there to keep you hydrated. Nice touch.
On the beach the service was excellent once you pick open chairs they set up your towel and umbrella, if you would like one. To get drinks/ food just raise the flag next to your chair and they are right there to serve you. I’m especially happy with the people working on the beach because I must have dropped my Iphone out my bag and left it on the beach. When I realized I lost my phone we were already inside our room but when we called my phone one of the workers had it and thank God I got it right back.

Safe to say I love this place and the people that work there are super sweet.
