Inyo Recap
I love asian cuisine like cannot get enough! If you have ever asked me what I want to eat you probably know this. So I have visited Inyo in Ferndale many times in the past. I alwaaayyyyssss ALAWAYS get miso soup whenever I go to a Japanese inspired Resturant it’s a must for me. But today I tried out the Inyo in West Bloomfield and I like it, it is bigger and more open. Great for if you are dining with a group, although the Ferndale location may accommodate you, West Bloomfield will more likely always be able to fit your group.
The costumer service was very friendly! I was greeted by a hostess right away and taken to a booth. The waiter was attentive although I have to mention it was a slow afternoon…
My miso soup came out promptly and I am one of those people that can’t wait to get food as soon as I order it…I am working on my patience. But I didn’t care for the miso soup that much. It lacked flavor, in my opinion, usually I want to drink all the broth after I eat the seaweed and tofu but this time I just left it… Sad story.
NEXT! My sushi roll the Golden! I opted out of getting spicy crab meat because I’m not a fan… It was good without it and I would definitely order this again…, in fact, I want this right now. Love the smoked salmon and what sold on this roll is the fact that there is mango inside. I eat mango just about evveerrryday and I’m not going to pass up a chance to eat it in sushi! It added a bright flavor and I’m only sad I haven’t tried this roll sooner. As for the spicy cream sauce that is topped on this roll it was not too hot but added a good amount of heat. If you want really spicy sauce though this isn’t enough…. I would call it mild cream sauce.
I prefer to add my own wasabi to my soy sauce and eat my sushi with a ton of ginger which makes it spicy just to my liking. This works for me!
What are your favorite kind of sushi combinations? And what’s a really weird one? I want to try it! I’m always in the mood for sushi!
