Paramount Fine Foods

by Brandie

I took a trip to Orlando, FL last week for my birthday! I really wanted to try out an establishment in the area which had just opened but meehh wasn’t wowed.

Luckily I found Paramount Fine Foods and had a great lunch.

Everything about this restaurant from the excellent, friendly server, and very caring chef is to love. Paramount Fine Foods starts you out with homemade pita bread hot and fluffy served straight out of the oven. It is so easy to never stop eating the bread. But once you get your food on the table you’ll wish you had two stomachs for all the goodness coming your way.

Throughly enjoyed the extra fresh and minty tabouli..

Always have to get a falafel but I usually only need one and it was perfect that ordering one was an option.

The lentil bean soup was so fulfilling and savory it made you want to really enjoy every bite. It gave me a feeling like I wanted to eat it all so fast but I also wanted to make it last forever at the same time.

The lentil soup is served with crunchy tortilla chips that may be placed right on top of your soup and contributes a good amount of salty crunch. Which you can never go wrong with.

The chef was very accommodating! My aunt wanted a dish she tried in Michigan but could not remember the name. He personally came out and showed her a sample of what he thought she was describing and made the musaka exactly how she wanted. He added just enough spice and served it on a bed of rice, she was very pleased.

I’ve never had musaka before but I loved this and my aunt said it was very close to the best one she’s had!

Paramount Fine Foods has a slight upscale ambiance but nothing too stuffy. I’ve never been to a place where I feel elegant in casual clothes. It makes for a great dining experience.

Located in the same shopping plaza as the Orlando, FL eye it would definitely be worth stopping in for a casual meal.
